We would like to stress how important it is in these difficult times that Greece is going through, to make efforts to obtain a necessary and valuable certification at European level, which will open new paths in Europe and will help us to establish ourselves as organizations, which provide services of high quality. “PANAGIA ELEOUSA” is at the disposal of any organization which will express interest, to provide them with further information and support on the quality certification EQUASS, in the framework of our role as the National Representative of EQUASS, in Greece. The Workshop “PANAGIA ELEOUSA” in cooperation with the EPR (European Platform for Rehabilitation issues), based in Brussels, was designated as "National Reference Point of EQUASS / National Representative of EQUASS" in Greece. These new responsibilities entail that “PANAGIA ELEOUSA” will act as the official representative of EQUASS in Greece providing information and support to social service providers, who are interested in implementing the EQUASS quality system. Also, its role will be to work in partnership with local, regional and national authorities to obtain the official recognition and adoption of the quality and certification system of EQUASS, in the social services sector in Greece. According to the report by Mr. Guus van Beek, EQUASS Key Expert in EPR, this distinction made to the Workshop “PANAGIA ELEOUSA” is an additional value and recognition as it has shown full commitment to the EQUASS quality approach.
